ROD SAMUT
Rod has more than 30 years’ experience in commercial and industrial property markets. Since 2007, he has been an adviser to Opus Capital Group. He is currently also the Chairman of Trade Coast Central, the developer of the former Brisbane Airport land at Eagle Farm in Brisbane.
Rod is a former Queensland President of the Property Council of Australia, Queensland Chairman of the Australian Council of Shopping Centres and Chairman of the Brisbane City Council’s Office of Economic Development.
Rod is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Australia.
DEAN PALMER
Dean is the Chief Executive Officer for Opus Capital. He is responsible for overseeing all core operations and strategic development of Opus Capital and its funds and trusts.
Dean has a background in Chartered Accounting, with degrees in accounting and law.
Dean’s leadership allows him to drive outcomes through the identification and execution of strategic and operational targets. His extensive experience in the financial services industry and the ability to actively influence business decisions allows him to positively lead the Company.
AVS (TONY) MOODY
Tony Moody, who co-founded Opus Capital Group, has had a long involvement in the finance industry combined with years of involvement in the development and syndication of residential and commercial properties.
From a debt funding perspective he has built a network of high level contacts in the Australian banking industry, particularly those in areas related to property.
Tony continues to maintain many of the relationships with debt funders and equity introducers at both a corporate and fund level.
SHARI LAWRENCE
As Fund Manager, Shari is responsible for managing the performance of all Opus investments through providing strategic leadership and ensuring effective operation of the Opus’ property portfolio. She has developed her career in the property industry over the previous 15 years in Australia and the United Kingdom. Shari has worked for institutional fund managers in both countries developing diverse property knowledge in asset management, investment strategy and fund management.
Shari has a broad property knowledge as well as an understanding of the strategic and economic perspective of property investment.
From portfolio structuring to investment advice and business development, Shari’s extensive skills are utilised to help maximise Unitholder returns. Shari has a degree in Property Economics, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and an Investment Management Certificate gained in the United Kingdom for the purpose of FSA authorisation.
EMILY SANTUCCI
Emily Santucci is the Group Financial Controller of Opus Capital Limited. The Opus Capital Finance Team is responsible for the financial control and analysis of all aspects of Opus’ investments. Emily has a proven track record in finance and excelled in her years within the financial sector.
Prior to joining the Opus Group, Emily worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers providing consulting services to other Fund Mangers. Emily has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
